- old photograph of Newington Trailer pumps and car from 1939 and also the fire station address. The vehicles were stationed in a garage at 67A High Street Newington. Building is still there and the main appliance bay was the right hand side of the larger main building (the entrance is now blocked up, it says Acorn on a window sign on Google Maps)
- brigade established 1938, closed 1956 [bu tthis may be different location]
